The Beginning of A New Life

 

At a very young age I began to drink, which led to sex and four beautiful children and unfortunately drugs. By the grace of God I was sat down and given another chance.  At this point I told myself, “I don’t want to live that life anymore or not get caught doing so anyways”. For the past 10 years I been living a double life and it was driving me to drink heavily and go into a depressive state. I prayed and prayed that God would show me the way and send me guidance, besides He’s the one that created me with all my talents and gifts.

 

One Saturday afternoon as I was cleaning I received a phone call from Nikki Jourdan and instantly I was attracted to her calming voice and knew her and I were to connect. I’ve been working with her for two months, bi-weekly now on various battles and blessings that I have in my life. In working with Nikki I’m learning who I really am and have someone I can trust and not judge me, but uplift me.

My husband and I was coming into our ministry, and the enemy had tried to take us out, but Nikki saw in the spirit realm where a root of bitterness was trying to divide my family by wrapping me up like a mummy. Starting with my feet this spirit was wrapping me up all the way to my throat, and was choking me. After Nikki, had described this I remembered my husband had been attacked 2 year's prior to this while in bed he was being choked by a spirit, and I called for the missionaries who were staying with us to help pray.

 

A year and a half ago, I started to have trouble with my feet, and I had so much pain in them. I had a hard time walking the next morning after working 2nd shift. But for 2 and a half years I had trouble breathing, and would choke throughout the day. Coughing frequently and the breathing became awful sometimes.

 

Nikki asked permission to pray: I needed a Holy Spirit fire to destroy the works of the enemy. So, as a point of contact she blew the breath of the Holy Spirit into the phone. I knew what she was doing, because God had used me in this way before. So I received the power of Holy Spirit, and by the third breath, I could feel the fire deep down into my soul. Fire!  I began to pray in the spirit in tongues, and the strength of the power of praise welled up in my soul. I heard the Holy Spirit say, "Release!" The praise came out long, hard, powerful like a trumpet blast!

 

I told Nikki, there's the strength of my praise - it's back! My husband has a similar blast of praise, but we have been seperated for a year and a half.
